Roses For Sale !

I caught another great sale this weekend at Lowes. Most of their rose were on a clearance sale of $1 apiece! I added them to my bed in this order - far right 2 - "Miss All-American Beauty" next 1 - "promise" Next 2 "gypsy" (a coral colored rose)

Carolina Jasmine

Here is my Carolina Jasmine growing on my back fence. It looks quite shabby this years because last year I thought it would be just a FABULOUS idea to use the jasmine itself as a trellis for Ryan's morning glory. Although it did make a great trellis, the morning glory was so vigorous it shaded the jasmine to the point of the dying back of some of the vine. Won't do that again!

Sale Plants!

I caught a sale today at the Louisiana Nursery Outlet on Coursey. Last year stocks plants were on sale from .50 to 1.00. Today I planted

3. Palace Purple Heuchera (coral bells)
4. Tall Purple Ruellia
5. Pineapple Sage (mmm... that smell!)
6. Blackie Sweet Potato Vine
7. Chaurtreusse Sweet Potato
8. Plumbago
9. Purple Wave Petunia
10. May Night Salvia

Can't wait to see them flourish!
